Using an eclectic approach, we might use person-centered therapy to talk through problems, cognitive behavioral therapy to help change thought patterns, or solution-focused therapy to help you find solutions that work. In addition to the various approaches, during sessions we may incorporate mindfulness, games, activities, art, and other techniques; especially when working with adolescents.
We approach both counseling and coaching with a Christian perspective, recognizing that to some, faith is very important and to others they do not want to talk about faith. Whatever your personal beliefs our focus is to equip you to find what works for you and live your best life.
Through counseling sessions, you will learn and become equipped with skills to overcome life's challenges. We will identify what has you stuck and develop strategies to move forward. If something in your life is not working, we will work together to find solutions and to do something different that does work.
