Psychological Testing & Evaluations
...Get Answers. Gain Clarity. Know What Comes Next.
Sometimes counseling begins with understanding what is really going on.
Psychological testing can provide valuable insight when you or your child are experiencing challenges with attention, learning, behavior, emotions, relationships, or everyday functioning.
MindRight Counseling & Coaching works collaboratively with Dr. Angelica Coumanova, PhD, LP, a licensed psychologist with Angel Psychology Services, to help individuals and families access comprehensive psychological testing and evaluation conveniently located in the same professional building as MindRight.
Could Psychological Testing Help?
You may be considering an evaluation because you have questions such as:
-
Does my child have ADHD?
-
Could my child be on the autism spectrum?
-
Why is my child struggling academically even though they seem capable?
-
Could there be a learning disability?
-
Why is it so difficult for me to focus, organize, or complete tasks?
-
Are anxiety or depression contributing to these difficulties?
-
Would a formal diagnosis help with treatment, school, college, or other accommodations?
-
I'm not sure what's going on—where do we start?
A comprehensive psychological evaluation can help move you from questions and uncertainty to greater understanding and a clear plan forward.

What Happens After Testing?
Receiving a diagnosis is only part of the process. A psychological evaluation can help identify strengths, challenges, diagnoses when appropriate, and recommendations for moving forward. Depending on the results, recommendations may include:
-
Individual counseling
-
Child or adolescent counseling
-
Parent support
-
ADHD strategies and skill development
-
Anxiety or depression treatment
-
School or academic accommodations
-
Additional medical or educational resources
When counseling is recommended, MindRight Counseling & Coaching offers a team of counselors serving children, teens, college students, adults, couples, and families. This allows testing and counseling to remain separate professional services while giving clients the option of accessing both resources conveniently.
Testing provides clarity. Counseling helps you put that understanding into action.
Not Sure Whether You Need Testing or Counseling?
That's okay!
Some concerns can be addressed effectively through counseling without formal psychological testing. Other situations may benefit from a comprehensive evaluation before developing a treatment plan.
