McCartney Paul

McCartney is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Minor in Bible from Harding University. From there he went on to receive his Master’s Degree from Texas Wesleyan in Professional Counseling. McCartney has experience with a wide range of ages from his time working as a children’s ministry intern, to working at a treatment center for teens and young men and running group counseling at an intensive outpatient program.

McCartney believes in challenging his clients to grow in every aspect of their lives. Whether it is by recognizing your own areas for growth or setting goals for the days to come, he believes it is important to be constantly looking towards the future.

McCartney works closely with teens, adults, and couples with an eclectic approach to therapy to help those who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, social skills and more. Some techniques that he uses include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy to offer a safe space for clients to facilitate healing and promote growth in all aspects of life.

McCartney has been married to his wife, Joanna, for three years. When not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family, game nights and enjoying popcorn while watching a good movie, at home or at the theater.

McCartney is supervised by Bryan Jason Brown, MS, LPC-Supervisor.
