Becky Southard’s path to counseling is built on decades of experience in both education and mental health. After earning her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington and completing counseling coursework at Dallas Baptist University, Becky began her career as a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2007. She also served as a Certified School Counselor, spending 25 years working in public education before transitioning fully into private practice as a counselor in North Richland Hills at MindRight Counseling.
This unique combination of education and counseling expertise allows Becky to deeply understand the struggles teens, adults, and families face in today’s world. Her open-minded and down-to-earth approach creates a safe and welcoming space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered.

Outside of counseling, Becky enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with her grandchildren, and relaxing on Lake Texoma with her family. She loves being outdoors, boating, and playing with her two dogs. And when fall rolls around, you’ll often find her in the stands cheering on TCU football at every home game!
