Meet our new counselor in North Richland Hills and Keller, Ann Boden Trammell. Ann is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in North Richland Hills, TX. She has a Master of Arts in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Amberton University. Ann is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy trained by EMDRIA, as well as current member. She is also a member of the National Alliance for Children’s Grief (NACG), the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), and the American Counseling Association (ACA).
While taking care of her late husband, a career firefighter and paramedic, she developed a passion for counseling and working with trauma by helping first responders in finding assistance when needed. Her experience with traumatic events firsthand led to a desire to move into the counseling professionally.
Noticing a need for help with PTSD and other mental health issues, EMDR and trauma training became a priority. Ann has a passion to work with children, teens, and adults using her experience, skills, and knowledge to help them move through tough mental health struggles.
Ann has two high school/college aged children and two German Shepherds. She enjoys volunteering at church when possible and working with young adults. Having graduated from the University of Kentucky as an undergrad, she can often be found watching college sports. She also spends time reading, doing various home projects, and traveling.
Ann is supervised by Bryan Jason Brown, MS, LPC-S.
