Sescelli Cox

Sescelli is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She acquired her Bachelor’s in Anthropology with a minor in Psychology from Texas A&M University with dreams of working in the forensic field. Quickly after graduation, she found herself needing a career, and went on to earn an alternative teaching certificate. Sescelli attended Lamar University for her Master’s in Education with a focus in counseling and has spent the last 10 years in education working with tweens, adolescents, and staff both in the classroom and as a campus counselor.

Sescelli’s experience as a teacher and a counselor provide her an insight into the world that your students face every day. The challenges that dictate their day to day can be hard to understand from the outside looking in, and we all know, “parents just can’t relate!” Having someone on the inside will provide your child with a person who can be sympathetic to their concerns and help furnish solutions to the stressors being a teen brings. Unfortunately, teens are not the only ones facing obstacles.

 

Regardless of your age, Sescelli is eager to assist you as you work through the hurdles life throws at you. Whether it's parenting. anxiety, depression, or anything in between, having Sescelli coach and counsel you or your child can help facilitate positive change. 

In her spare time, Sescelli enjoys spending time with her little one and her husband. She loves traveling and exploring new cities.
