McCartney’s Counseling Approach

McCartney believes in challenging his clients to grow in every aspect of life. Whether it’s recognizing areas for improvement or setting future goals, his approach encourages resilience and ongoing development.

His counseling style is eclectic and evidence-based, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. This integration offers clients a safe space to explore challenges, develop new perspectives, and build tools for meaningful change.

A Personal Touch from Our Licensed Professional Counselor Associate

Outside of counseling, McCartney enjoys spending time with his wife, Joanna, as well as friends and family. He loves game nights, watching movies at home or in the theater, and of course—popcorn. His balance of warmth, humor, and encouragement carries into the counseling room, where clients feel both supported and challenged.
